“The pictures do not do justice to this great apartment! It is fresh, modern and well appointed. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was easy to communicate with. We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. ”

“Very quiet, but very central location in the historic town center of Scanno. Nice, clean, cosy and still sufficiently spacious accommodation - everything available required for cooking and relaxing. Grocery stores, as well as hand-made cookie & noodle shops and many other shops just around the corner. Only instructions for waste disposal were not exactly comprehensive. We (family of 4) enjoyed staying in this house for two weeks, having a second home and a base for doing spectacular hiking……

“Lovely home, however, there were some issues. Almost every dish we pulled out was dirty and unfortunately we kept having to deal with ants by the front door area, where the garbage/recycling bins were. Communication with the host was ok. I didn't get responses to questions asked prior to arriving, which is bad form. ”

“A friend and I stayed in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat for a couple of weeks. It is very clean and has everything needed for light cooking. During the day, the neighborhood is quiet but comes alive in the evenings when everyone is outside for the passegiata. There are a number of bars to enjoy for your morning coffee or aperitivo in the evenings. A local favorite shop just around the corner, Antichi Sapori, has quality prosciutto, salume and cheeses. Our rental was paid in full at the time of booking and we received confirmation from VRBO about our upcoming stay (address, etc) but no response from our host when I sent her a couple different messages. The day we arrived, we tried calling the host and got no answer but we randomly ran into her on the street near the rental. She apologized and said she was having issues……
