“We were in the apartment with a group of 4. Unfortunately, the two extra beds were not really comfortable, so we recommend to book the extra room (which is paid on top). So for four people the apartment is normally too small. Otherwise, we had a great stay and the apartment is in a great location close to the city center. The communication with Caroline was without complications and we had a very nice welcome.”

“Wij verbleven er met de kinderen, kleinkindjes en 3 honden. We waren met 12. Alles was meer dan voldoende aanwezig. Zalig toekomen, opgemaakte bedden en handdoeken genoeg voorradig, onze vakantie kon direct beginnen, er stond zelfs een wijntje koud in de frigo. Bij mooi weer is het heerlijk buiten zitten voor een BBQ met excellent vlees van 'boucherie Bertrand' uit Mettet en bij minder weer een prachtige, ruime plaats om binnen te eten. Mooie wandelingen, railbikes vanuit Falaen naar de abdij……

“Logement entouré de cités dégradées. Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais un immeuble dédié à l'hébergement touristiques. Aucune indication extérieure, le numéro de l'immeuble est écrit au feutre. Nous sommes arrivés à 14H30 et comme rien n'est indiqué nous avons cru à une fausse adresse. Nous avons questionnés des habitants des immeubles jouxtant et il ne connaissait pas l'existence de cet "hôtel". Après un quart d'heure d'attente et d'insistance une femme de ménage qui ne parlait pas le français nous à……

“The flat is in a quiet living area and the owner is very nice. The room is cozy and clean. Room temperature is a bit difficult to adjust. Remember to contact the owner before arrival because there is no reception. There is parking space which needs extra pay and we need to find parking space in the vicinity area in the last day. “Bel endroit , à 20 minutes du centre en voiture. L’appart est bien agencé même si les WC se trouvent dans la chambre. Seul hic en ce qui me concerne c’est le lit ! Si vous êtes sensibles aux mouvements du conjoint aïe aïe aïe . Le canapé lit en revanche est confortable. Bon séjour pour une courte durée.”

J'enlève 1 étoile car Nous avons pu utiliser la télé que le dernier jour car la télécommande avait était perdu par l'ancien locataire. Le loueur nous a changé de télé le lendemain. La boîte à clé n'est pas trop accessible. Nous devons tenir la boîte aux lettres avec notre tête et a genoux Une place……

“We stayed two nights at this lovely location and recommend it to all. The hosts were very helpful with all our questions. The location, next to the Waterloo battlefield, was ideal for our group of history enthusiasts. We will definitely be back. ”

“A very comfortable and spacious house with super outside facilities and a friendly and effecient host.We had good weather throughout our stay and we made extensive use of the pool and hot tub, which the children especially enjoyed. Joined by another family , we had a memorable bbq one evening for 20 guests and the Weber grill and kitchen facilities coped easily. In summary, all had a most enjoyable stay. ”

Not bad experience

"The location of the hotel is good , just 10 walk to the station, it is in the side alley so when you walked alone back in the dark it would feel a bit dangerous but the local here look fine and i felt safe all the time. The sound proof of my room is very poor, i always heard ppl talking outside or in their room and it only would be quiet until 0100 am. No air conditioner at all, but i can see heater inside the room(not sure it worked) And the room is quite dull, even i try my best to turn on all the lights in the room , still very dull. maybe that is romantic to some ppl but defintely not for me. bathroom is clean , have heat water but sometime just not very stable. TV is tiny but that is not quite important..no freezer in the room. "

"Very easy to reach from train station. There is always receptionist(s) there which make us feel safe. Bad smell of smoking goes to our room until mid night when the restaurant close. We request for extra hangers and it takes a whole day to deliver to our room until we remind the front desk for the third time. Overall, it is a nice hotel to stay for traveller, easy to go around the city. "
