Title: Not Your Standard Sheraton – Clean, But With Several Issues
Review:
I stayed at the Sheraton Four Points with my husband and four of our children (April 2025, Mon–Sat). This is not a corporate Sheraton—it is a privately owned property that uses the Sheraton name. When we walked in, my first thought was, “What did I just book?” But once inside, the hotel turned out to be a bit of a hidden gem. That said, there are a number of things guests should know:
Pros:
• Rooms were mostly clean and well-kept.
• Great location near the beach and attractions.
• Comfortable beds.
Cons:
• Housekeeping: I requested a linen change midweek (Wednesday), but it was not done until late afternoon while we were in the room—an inconvenience after a full day out. My kids’ beds were never changed. I found a yellow fake fingernail under one of their sheets, which was pretty gross.
• TV Compatibility: Streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video do not work properly if your content is in 4K—sound plays, but there’s no image.
• Low Water Pressure: The water pressure in the shower and sink was extremely weak. No way to adjust it.
• No Trash Liners: Trash goes straight into the bin. Not great if you have sticky or wet waste.
