The people were friendly, the spot was easy to find, and we had a room the size of a small apartment, with 2 ocean-view balconies, for about relatively cheap. The bathtub had jets, which was a plus; and I’ll take advantage of the sauna/pool area when we visit again and have less planned.
I enjoyed walking the board walk, and the food options in the area were decent.
We got a call about (I’m pretty sure) going to a meeting about the time-share; we skipped the meeting, but they did say they had renovations planned…I think that’s a great idea. This is in a great location, but the decor/appliances/building aesthetics could use an update.
The only thing that was really tough to deal with was the bed…it was not comfortable, and it had a cover under the sheets that crinkled loudly whenever you moved…because the bed was uncomfortable, we moved a lot. We ended up sleeping on the pullout bed, which was much more comfortable…which is kind of crazy.
At the end of the day, though, for the value that we paid, this was a great spot. The people were friendly, the view from the 6th floor was great, and we didn’t break the bank to stay there and have a nice weekend away…I’ll just bring extra bedding to put on top of the mattress next time we visit, haha
