“It's a new hotel apartment. My room had two rooms plus a private bathroom. The mini kitchen had frig, microwave, gas stove, toaster, hot water kettle, pots and pans, silverware, plates and cups. Two AC units one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. It kept the rooms cold. The shower water ran to slow. The shower spray nozzle needs to be replaced. Parking onsite is small and limited. “Sapphire Bay Villa 1, very spacious and clean. Villa needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to Luxury price that the owners are requiring. Everything was working fine but a few fixtures and furnishings are old and need replacing. We had a lovely stay and the Manageress Mrs Va and Joe the maintenance man looked after us well. They are what made our stay excellent. We would definitely stay again but hopefully the price reflects the condition of the villa next time.”

“For the price paid, the apartment was not ready for us to check in and we spent over an hour waiting for the cleaner to finish. The cleanliness wasn’t great either. There were no washing liquid and kitchen towels. The pillows and beddings looked like they were not washed either. The floors weren’t mopped as we could still see dirt on the tiles. ”

“Nice property and staff very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Coming from USA, our flight arrived early morning and check in was 3 PM. We spent the day at pools/beach and they texted us when our room was ready. Same leaving, flight was late evening and we checked out at noon. They let us USA a shower at 5PM before departure. Only real issue was maybe due to being Easter week, most guests seemed to have small children. They have an upstairs “club” area and a bar that is open evenings……

"Travel in Nadi by taxi is easy and not expensive, so although it is not near city center or the beach, transportation is not a main concern. Although the building is a bit old, the room is clean. Just one minor thing, the water is not hot enough for bathroom at midnight while it is normal at the morning. There is a mall nearby, so it is also easy to access for supermarket and restaurants. Resorts in Nadi are expensive, so if you look for a hotel with reasonable price but also acceptable service, Mercure shall be a good choice."
