What’s not to love about Borgo Pignano? From the moment you step onto the property, it feels as though you’ve entered another world. This stunning historic estate offers a perfect blend of ancient charm and modern luxury.
The amenities are exceptional, and the staff—especially Vittorio and Gigi—are incredibly attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was pleasant and memorable. The on-site Michelin-starred restaurant is a true culinary highlight.
We stayed at the San Bartolomeo House, an impressive two-story accommodation with the master suite on the upper floor—thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed. Breakfast at Borgo Pignano is world-class, and the lower pool offers one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen.
To our surprise, the estate even includes a museum filled with antique cars and motorcycles—an unexpected and delightful touch.
But what truly stood out to us was the evident love and care that owner Michael Moritz has poured into this place. We were told he knows every staff member by name. That might seem ordinary, but for someone of his stature, it reflects a rare level of humility and personal investment.
My wife and I were genuinely impressed by the meticulous attention to detail throughout the property. Borgo Pignano is a treasure in every sense
