“George and Subhas home was perfect for our family to spend a weekend in southern Connecticut while in town for the weekend to visit friends. “We loved everything about this cozy cottage! It felt like home when we walked in. Place was very clean, quiet and beautiful. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could've stayed longer. “I have never stayed in such a unique place. The staff was accommodating to my early morning and made me a special yogurt parfait. The room had everything that a five star hotel has….even a heat lamp in the bathroom! It is the very definition of quaint luxury.”

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. ”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
