“We stayed for two nights during homecoming for SUNY Canton. It was a girls trip to see our freshman play volleyball and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. The home is charming, clean and comfortable. We had farm fresh eggs from the host’s very own chickens. The host left us everything we needed to make eggs on English muffins. We had fresh and delicious coffee and we appreciated the butter and extras in the cabinet. The farm animals were a huge bonus for……

“Very nice stay, could be improved with a few inexpensive minor changes- an additional towel rack in the bathroom, more implements in the kitchen, instructions for use of some of the extras and appliances, and some warning about the fact that you can't park on the street overnight. Also a chair on night stand in each bedroom.”

An unpredictable variant, it was hot during our visit and the lovely house doesn't have AC. There are fans in the rooms that help to keep the air moving. “Adorable, comfortable house. Needed a place for 4 people and the house was the perfect size. Walking distance from downtown and Clarkson. Little too long a walk to SUNY Potsdam. The fire pit out back was an added bonus. Would stay there again if we return to Potsdam.”
