“Having arrived after 30hrs in the air and 2.5hrs drive from Auckland we could not have been happier with the Accomodation. From stepping into reception to be met with a friendly warm smile, to a clean, large studio apartment with everything we could need! I think they thought we were a little mad that we wanted to jump in the pool at only 15Degs outside ( the pool isn't heated) but it was just what we needed to refreshen up the muscles after nearly two days of traveling! “This is a very perfect mansion which is both classic and modern. I’m surprised that even the towels are put on a heating rack. We love the food a lot, both dinner and breakfast. Fresh ingredients and nicely cooked by the host! Host is very nice and introduced us to sheep feeding. Thanks for lending us a HDMI cable as well since our laptop’s monitor is not functioning well and we need to connect it to the TV.”

Clean room and comfy bed, not en-suite but private bathroom for every room, hot shower with very good shower pressure, lovely common kitchen and lounge areas. “The owners are the only staff there. They don’t clean the room during the stay, an open dog is wandering all around and nobody cared to fasten the dog belt. It does have a pool but u will have to gain the owner’s permission in order to use it, hence it’s more like a decoration. 3 rooms share a lobby which is the only access to a fridge. Strongly don’t suggest any Asian fellows to stay. ”

“The bed sheets has many insects. It seems that there has no change the bed sheets. There has no pillow provided. 1st night - we double checked and made sure the door locked before we go bed to sleep. In the morning, we saw the door was opened. The door had scratch marks， I guess somebody use the tools to open the door. Be careful your bags and money if you stay in there. We really cannot sleep in the 2nd night. The washroom is clean. The location is not different to find. I won’t……
