“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs……

“We stayed 10 nights at sea glass cottage and it only got better with each night. Terrific location. You can hear the ocean crashing in the quiet at night. The Lanai is great for meals reading and quiet contemplation. The kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities and the beach chairs umbrellas and wagon make things easy. Highly recommended for a Poipu vacation. Would stay here again when return. Thank u Tina and Beth for being great hosts!”

“My husband and I stayed at the cottage for almost two weeks. It was absolutely perfect, all we needed to be comfortable, rested and supported during the vacation. We were delighted to have use of the kayaks, easy access to the river via the dock, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. The back patio is a big plus for early morning coffee sipping and listening to the birds. We would most certainly come back and stay at the cottage again, especially if we……

“Nice peaceful place to stay with beautiful woodwork. The location was good with easy drives to all the nice beaches in the area. We enjoyed the portable hot tub after hiking all day. No AC as mentioned but that was never an issue, in fact we felt a little cool waking up some mornings. The house felt like you were staying in the rain forest which was nice. The housed felt a little smaller than it looks in the pictures but fine for 2 people. The dresser was filled with bedding-sheets blankets etc……

“My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin and had a great experience overall. We had a few minor issues during our stay, which we were willing to overlook because we enjoyed the property so much. I was expecting insects and other wildlife due to the tropical climate, however we had a little infestation of flies in the smaller bathroom each night to the point where the sink would be covered in them. We avoided using that bathroom, so it wasn't a deal breaker.Also, for having a max guest……

“We had a wonderful time exploring the island and coming back to the villa to rest. It's a beautiful location, in great shape, and a perfect home-base to get out and see things. It slept the four of us comfortably, the kitchen was well stocked to cook in the evenings, and it is minutes from beaches.”

“Absolutely loved the location, the quiet neighborhood, the big lanai, the outdoor shower and the brand new bbq! Found the counter space a bit small for doing much cooking. Only small issue was that the cutlery drawer had a horrible musty smell, possibly from the wicker tray, so we kept our cutlery in a mug on the counter. Would definitely stay again!”

“Enjoyed our stay! Loved the screened in porch for meals. Enjoyed sunset every evening at Po'ipu beach park a 5 minute walk. Great hike on the Heritage Trail to Secret Beach. We did day trips to Eleele and Hanapepe, Salt Beach Waimea and Kekaha beach. All in all a fantastic stay. Easy check-in and spacious house. Quiet neighborhood. ”

“We are a family of four with young kiddos and this place worked great for our stay. We always had hot water in bath and showers, which was great. The house location near the beach is amazing and the beach is beautiful. The beds and pillows are comfy. We had access to washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. We also enjoyed watching the birds in the backyard and loved seeing the geckos around. ”

“We highly recommend this ultra clean lovely cottage! The lights were on for us when we arrived making us feel so welcome! The cottage was so clean and had every amenity we needed to make our stay comfortable! We loved the pool area which was so relaxing and completely private! We even hiked down to the mostly private pristine beach! Why would anyone choose a busy resort? We will return!”

“For us, the cottage was perfect in every way. We like to keep our time on the north shore simple. We rented bikes and only used the car for specific outings. We walked the beach, swam the ocean, used the outdoor shower, and lived on the lanai except when we were in the gardens. The cottage is lovely and equipped with everything we needed.
