“Great place to stay in Gisborne ”

“Our whanau stayed at the Verandah to attend our Kori’s 80th birthday. We had a large group staying so needed a big place. This property was awesome, it was big enough to easily accommodate us all comfortably, and we never felt as though we were tripping over each other. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook all our meals during our stay, so we weren’t having to eat out. Having young kids with us, we really appreciated all the toys and games that were available for……

“From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”

“Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.”

“The setup was perfect for us, no problems, suited us well.The bookabach platform pretty much sucks though, I would not have been able to communicate with the owner at all if I had not got creative and found their contact independently - I would use bookabach again only as a desperate act of last resort.
