“We thought the property was adequate for us. But didn't have enough towels as a muck-up with owners cleaner. We weren't told it was 2 stories. But apart from that lovely area.”

“We had a wedding nearby.We were allowed in slightly earlier which was very helpful as we needed to be at the wedding at 2:30 and had to get changed before hand.The house was very well equipped and dealing with the owner has been very easy”

“The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia……

“From the moment we drove in Kawhia bay and stepped onto the balcony we were in heavon! The Bach had everything we needed, we were able to bbq every night, the kitchen was well equipped, large fridge to stock our food and drinks (note there are no local shops so you need to bring what you need - closet general store is 15 min drive). Bed was super comfy and the open kitchen and living area that opened on to balcony looking over the bay was fantastic. The large dining table was great to not only……

“This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay.”

“Lovely location, comfy bed, everything you might need is there, home away from home.Very clean.”

“My family stayed here for two nights. This location is just around the corner from the caves, but is secluded. An excellent place to stay to avoid the crowds. The hostess responds fairly quickly to questions. I highly recommend going on the farm tour if you can - the tour is usually included for people staying at one of the hostess's properties, and includes the opportunity to meet sheep, cows, goats, alpacas, emus, and ostriches.
