“Sunset Motel was clean and nicely decorated. The location was perfect for the activities we came to do in Lake City. Thanks for the great communication! The only negative with the room was the blinds being too long to completely close and block out the light from the outdoor lighting fixture outside our door. Perhaps adding curtains would help darken the room for sleeping. ”

“Beautifully kept and restored historic building built as a hotel overlooking the Mississippi. Fresh flowers at the entrance, in the lobby and dining room. Clean, classy, pleasant and helpful staff. Good restaurant with view of the river. Nicely kept park and walk/ bike path behind the hotel. We went to go biking on the Cannon Valley trail. Staff offered to lick up our bike. Ample, easy access parking garage. Would like to have towel racks or shelf for towels outside the shower space. Would like……

“ No one was at the desk until 9:00 in the morning. No regular coffee in the room, only decaf! Pool and whirlpool were great! Room was great! Breakfast was nice! Eggs, cereal, yogurt, different breads, fruit, milk, orange juice, but weak coffee. ”
