Chalet Edelweißalm, Königsleiten

Luxury chalet with spectacular views of the Hohe Tauern mountains. It is located above Königsleiten and is guaranteed to impress you with its exclusive furnishings. The mixture of rustic mountain hut cosiness, modern design and hand-picked decorative elements is particularly successful. The highlight of the house is the SPA area with sauna, steam bath, adventure shower and whirlpool, which is further enhanced by a hot tube on the terrace with a view of the mountain panorama. All rooms are furnished with local natural stone and wooden floorboards, and the outer walls are also adorned with old wood and natural stone. In addition to the fireplace, an environmentally friendly air heat pump provides cozy warmth. The large terrace with additional flat screen TV, barbecue and comfortable seating will definitely be your favorite spot on mild summer evenings. The romantic alpine village of Königsleiten is located far away from the hustle and bustle at an altitude of 1,600 meters in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The village has retained its originality and authenticity and offers you eventful holidays in the mountains with its wonderful location. On a total of 325 kilometers of bike routes, you can undertake a wide variety of bike and mountain bike tours. A wonderful gathering spot for our whole family.

Our adult children joined us for a stay in the Alps from America. Plenty of room (bedrooms and gathering areas). The sauna/steam room was enjoyed by all. Hot Pot took a bit of effort to get ready and use (and there was broken glass in there when we used it for the first time). The kitchen was well supplied and we appreciated the use of the charcoal grill and especially the laundry room. The "snack" drawer in the kitchen had not been emptied and held open snacks and many crumbs. The area gave us much to enjoy in hiking, site seeing, gondola, and restaurants.
