“The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. “We loved staying here. Originally our plan was to explore the area but we loved the house so much, how comfortable it was, how beautiful, that we found it hard to actually motivate to leave. The kitchen has everything you could want and we enjoyed the hot tub, the state of the art speakers, the multiple board games , the large tvs, the books and the arcade games. There is a cute town with a coffee shop and multiple restaurants just a few blocks down the road. Communication was extremely easy and……

“We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. ”

“My friends and I had a really nice time at Sheila's property for a spring weekend! When you're sitting in the living room, it really feels like you're in a tree house. It was comfortable for 6 of us (2 in each room) to hang out inside when it was rainy outside. Check in and check out was easy. Location was perfect for our needs (hiking in Minnewaska and Mohonk and roller skating at Skate Time in Accord). I recommend bringing coffee filters if you're planning on making coffee!
