Summary:
June - August we accept 3+ night reservations are not able to check-in & out on Thursday or Sunday. Please choose arrival & departure days of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.

Loon Lodge is a COMPLETELY REMODELED PRIVATE HOME with a perfect 100' sand swimming beach located on Pine Point
with direct access to Traders Bay on Leech Lake in Walker, MN.

We have a dock with boat lift and shore power, kayak and paddle boat for your enjoyment.

Wood stove in the greatroom and wood is provided!

Oversize garage available to guests and indoor fish cleaning. Level walk to the lake with firepit. Wood provided.

The Space:
Very private 3 bedroom (+ queen sofa sleeper with air topper), 3 bath home with log furniture, fully stocked kitchen, indoor and outdoor fish cleaning areas and beautiful deck overlooking the lake. Full unfinished basement to store gear.

Amenities include:
- 8 person dining table on the deck
- Private road with only 12 cabins. Environmental lake across the road. Very peaceful and quiet
- 10 minutes to the casino and 15 to downtown Walker
- Wi-fi on mesh network
- Smart TV with USB outlets and master and queen bedrooms
- Granite kitchen tops, tile backsplash, LED lighting, wood and tile floors
- Dog friendly (up to 2 dogs allowed for an extra fee)
- High quality mattresses and bedding. All linens and towels provided
- Gas grill with propane provided
- Extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage for bait and beverages

Whole house and garage. Please note:

In order to keep our rates down, we open/close bedrooms and baths based on your groups size (you still have the entire home, just not access to certain bedrooms and bathrooms).

If your total group is...

3 or fewer...Owner's suite + sofa sleeper
4 - 5...2 bedrooms and baths + sofa sleeper
6 - 8...3 bedrooms and baths + sofa sleeper

Additional bedrooms and baths can be opened (Example: If you have 3 people and would like 2 bedrooms and baths we can open another bedroom and bathroom for $75 + tax. This is the total charge not a nightly charge).

Note: nightly rental fees are based on your total group size and automatically include the number of corresponding bedrooms and baths.

The Neighborhood:
About 12 cabins on a dead end road. Environmental lake across the street. Only two direct neighbors. Very private and peaceful!

Getting Around:
You'll need a car.

Other Things to Note:
We are 10 minutes from the Casino and 15 minutes to the town of Walker. We have 100' of perfect sand beach located on a private dead end road. Gentle weed free slope to into lake makes this beach ideal for swimming. We do consider dogs with a limit of 2 . The pet fee is $75 + tax/dog.

Family winter getaway

Relaxing peaceful place

Very nice place amenities were plentiful. Shoreline sandy and easy for our grandson to play in water. Firewood available to use along with a boat lift. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of room for the six of us. Will definitely come back

We love this place!

This is our second time staying at this rental and we absolutely love it! It has everything you could possibly need. The sandy beach is great for the kids and the rental provides a paddle boat and kayak...that kept the kids busy every day! Trees provide lots of shade, but there's also enough sun throughout the day. Lots of chairs by the beach and fire pit, which was also a huge hit each evening. Property provides firewood, as well! The cabin is VERY spacious and VERY clean. Proximity to Walker is convenient...we made several trips throughout the course of the week. Rick is a great host! We love this property - and you will, too!

Great summer vacation

Our family enjoyed our summer vacation at Loon Lodge Vacation home. The comfortable and nicely decorated lake house was well stocked with everything we needed for an enjoyable time. The sandy beach and swimming area was enjoyed by all and having a boat lift was very useful. We hope to come back again.

Perfect mini vacation

Everything about this cabin/house was perfect! I was told from the 17-year-old on the couch that the pullout bed is the most comfortable one he has ever slept in. I personally have never seen a rental be so well stocked with spices and oils and tinfoil not to mention toilet paper and paper towels! The hosts have thought of everything and it made for a nice stress-free weekend! Thank you!!

Winter Wonderland Getaway

The location was great! Right on Leech Lake, with easy access to other lakes. The house was very welcoming with an adorable fireplace and all the supplies that we needed! The garage was very spacious as well! Can’t wait to come back next year!

DOG FRIENDLY cabin with everything you want and need -- winter stay

First -- we picked this because it was DOG FRIENDLY, which is very much appreciated. Overall, a very nice cabin, well-stocked and ready to roll. It's not brand new, but its obviously not very old and very well-maintained. We also enjoyed the wood-burning stove and supplied firewood (our dog loved it, too). It was cold outside, and plenty warm inside. A few small cons: - Musty basement... it's not that much of a problem, but when you first enter the house, there's a landing that has stairs up to the home, or down to the basement... so... you smell it as soon as you walk into the house. Sorry, it was kind of gross. - the strict 10am checkout time felt unnecessarily stressful on a quiet and frigid December morning - No recycling available, so we packed it out and took it home with us. I hope others will do that too. - watch for ice on the access road... it was my fault, but I slid off the road and into a ditch, and had to call a tow truck to drag me out at 11pm. whoops. At least it was a short walk back to the cabin to wait for them to arrive. Otherwise, a very nice cabin, and a very nice stay. I'd totally go again, any season.

Awesome getaway!

Loon Lodge was the perfect place to go to escape and relax! The house is wonderful and has everything you need, is close enough to town but also isolated enough to enjoy peace, quiet and all the beauty of northern Minnesota. We had a great stay and hope to visit again in the future!

Great stay at Loon Lodge

Just returned from a great week. The space was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve experienced. We have two young kiddos (2 & 4) and the shallow and sandy entry to the lake was such a perk. Grandma and Grandpa also traveled and enjoyed the space, deck, and the ability to walk out to the pontoon (we rented) and go for a ride. If you’re considering this place, go for it, you won’t be disappointed!

Family get a way

Three family members and their spouses rented the house for the week. Did a lot of fishing and relaxing on the deck. Wasn’t real far from town so shopping was easy. Would rent this house again.
