“We found the cottage to be a very interesting design of the outwardly past century and inwardly modern. Victor and Carina have made the cottage a cosy place to land. The area was so delightful. We walked along tracks that took us to bubbling steams. So much flora and sunshine. Easily went on the train to Edinburgh a couple of times. ”

“The property had a few drawbacks during our 4-day stay in Scotland. While the overall experience was generally positive, there were a few areas that could use improvement: The beds were not very comfortable. They were two separate single beds pushed together rather than a proper double/queen bed. This caused the beds to shift and separate during the night, disrupting sleep. Additionally, the beds were at slightly different heights, which was awkward. Sound insulation from the ceiling was poor.……

“We had a fabulous family stay over Christmas and New Year. Plenty of space to spread out for the whole family. Comfortable beds, clean and warm house with everything you need in a beautiful setting. “Our stay at the Ratham Guest House was wonderful! The home was outfitted with everything we needed for our 21-day stay. We were warmly welcomed by Irene and Ewan who were kind and gracious hosts.
