“The Whitman is a beautiful property but they do silly things like add $75 to the stay for parking and internet to be redeemed with $15 per day in the restaurant. That type of thing bugs me - suddenly a stay is wrapped in a “thing” that is $75 more expensive than I thought it would be. ”

“It was great, convenient and clean. The only issue we had was check in was at 3 PM. We arrived around 1 PM to see if we could check in early and we couldn't, which was fine of course. But when we came back at 4 PM our room was still not ready. Other than that, great stay!”

“Renovated old building turned into very modern history filled hotel. Fun old horse equipment and assorted antiques add character to otherwise minimalist decor. My only suggestion is there was no chair or desk in my room. Had work and meetings to attend while here. ”
