“We enjoyed five days at this lovely modern cabin in Cavendish. We were delighted with the quiet wooded setting and the aesthetically pleasing cabin where everything from building materials to bedding were chosen with care and an eye for quality. “This house was perfect for our family's ski weekend. Everything was very clean, the house was extremely comfortable. Beds/mattresses were great and there were plenty of pillows. “We only stayed for one night while doing some early Christmas shopping in July. The apartment was very nice. Things were very clean and tidy inside. Being so close to great amenities just a short walk away in town was nice. My only slightly negative comment is that the front stairs to the mill building are very worn but that is fairly trivial. “My friends and I made a last minute ski trip for new years eve and decided instead of going to a local mountain in western Mass, we would go to a real mountain in VT. Our one friend lives out in western Mass but Okemo is still 2 hours away so instead of taking a drive up and a out in the same day we figured an over night stay would work well.
