“Headed “up North” (I live in San Leandro) to get away while I had my deck painted. I have dogs and it just seemed easier to leave then try to navigate them not having acces to the yard and also barking at the painter. This cute little spot was perfect for us! Close to downtown but also private and best of all, had an enclosed deck with a hot tub so I did not have to worry about my dogs running off. Highly recommend”

“The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! ”

“A beautiful place with rustic charm. It was a last-minute reservation, and I am very glad to have booked two nights. It isn't modern or flashy but, it is perfect for the riverside environment it inhabits. The host is very nice and works at making the common areas feel like home. There is a fun energy around the grounds that strikes memories of summer camp. Amongst the other guest that were mostly families, my partner and I enjoyed the social energy which the facilities are set to encourage. If……

The home accommodated our group of 13 adults comfortably, including space for all in the large dining room, kitchen, dishes/flatware, glasses, etc., outdoor seating, and bathroom/bedrooms. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location is quiet and tranquil as well as conveniently located to the ocean and the redwoods. We heartily recommend it.”

“Review for Highlands Resort – Adults Only I had a lovely and relaxing stay at Highlands Resort. The setting is peaceful, the grounds are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is perfect for a quiet getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The only issue I experienced was with the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, I was never able to connect from the cabin I was assigned, even after reporting the problem and being told the router had been reset. “The Tiny Tipsy Turtle was perfect for our needs. Well designed to make use of a small space. As 2 adults and a large dog with a crate, we were just fine. The cleanliness and great use of space made our stay lovely. Having the deck/patio area was a nice bonus. Location was wonderful: walking distance to shopping, eateries and a beach. ”

“We stayed in a teeny-tiny cabin. Nice shower with nice products. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice bed! Two burner stovetop and mini fridge. Fire pit and picnic bench in front of each cabin. Just a few steps to Johnson’s Beach. Just a few blocks from Safeway and restaurants. La Bodeguita Mexican restaurant is a MUST. Property manager Chris is very kind and helpful. ”
