3/5 – Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, and Pet-Friendly, but Needs Some Work.
Pros:
1. The location is convenient and easy to access from the highway.
2. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful—check-in was smooth and quick.
3. The room, including the bedsheets and bathroom, was impressively clean. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work.
4. Very pet-friendly, and best of all—pets stay free, which is a huge plus for travelers with animals.
5. The room had a microwave and mini-fridge.
Cons:
1. The mattresses are very low quality—you can feel the springs and hear creaking every time you move. Definitely not ideal for a restful night.
2. Room 116 specifically: the door frame is in terrible condition. There was a noticeable gap around the door, and we could see light through it while lying in bed—even when it was locked. It didn’t feel secure.
3. The vending machines were poorly maintained. Only five snack options, and two of them had chips lying on their sides like someone had tried shaking the machine to get a freebie.
4. Very limited food options near this exit. If you're arriving late, be aware—everything but McDonald’s closes by 10 p.m., and even McDonald’s is done by midnight. Bring food or plan ahead.
Bottom line: Clean, pet-friendly, and welcoming, but the beds, security, and amenities leave room for improvement. Decent for a quick overnight while on the road.
