“My girlfriend and I simply loved staying here. It's the kind of place you wish that you lived in full-time. Being able to use a hot tub any time of the day is a true luxury!The sheer privacy and beauty of the natural surroundings is unmatched. The cabin is actually a very nicely rennovated mobile home with all of the conveniences this entails: laundry room, full kitchen, extremely cozy living room, a master bedroom and a small second bedroom with twin bed. I would 100% stay here again or even……

“This cabin was just as advertised, and perfect for our family. We were looking for some winter isolation, and found it at the Outpost. The fireplace was great, the arrangement was perfect for family games in front of the fire or at the table, the kitchen had what we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had, and we enjoyed saying hello to their two very friendly dogs who stopped by. We would stay there again, summer or winter.”

“Just as described..quaint, charming historic tavern/restaurant along National road. We arrived in time to catch a last serving on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious—Service was terrific! Our check in could not be smoother-used electronic—and hostess was as welcoming as can be ! The floor plan was unique yet easy to follow—the complimentary cafe/bistro hallway was ideal for hot/cold soft beverages andnicely supplied quick b’fast to go in the am. “I wanted to take my family away to just spend some time together and relax, as when we usually all get together, it's for holidays and very hectic. This was perfect!On Friday night, we had a pizza making contest and my adult kids played games and went into the hot tub in the light snow! I woke up early before anyone else on Saturday and sat in the living room with a cup of hot coffee, while looking out at the snow. It was a great chance to just eat all day, spend time together and have a fun……

“Great place. Quiet at top of hill. Bed comfortable. Can have a fire and firewood sales are at a house on the way to this place. Easy check in and check out. Restaurants were close. Heater/AC is a little loud and hot tub not the hottest I’ve ever felt but both were within tolerances. Nice gas indoor fireplace. All the kitchen things you’d ever need. 1 shower/bath with 1 toilet. Was very clean. ”

“This is a beautiful house in a gorgeous area! The host is very friendly and gracious, and so are the locals. We could not have asked for better accommodations while in the area - everything we needed for a wonderful vacation was already here when we arrived. We definitely hope to get to come and visit again sometime!”

“It is not fancy, but great for the price for a short get away close to lots of hiking for me and my dog.Check in and check out were easy. I noticed a problem with the oven, but didn’t need to use it for the stay, and they were nice enough to wait to send somebody until check out day to come fix it. Internet and TV were easy to use. There was a nice intro packet to the area.Biggest complaint would be that there is no privacy barrier between the hot tub and the main road. I was looking forward to……

“The only complaint is that the jets in the right side of the hot tub didn’t work. Otherwise everything was clean, easy and overall a great stay! Would use again! ”

“This is the cutest property, and the location is perfect! It’s right between a winery and a distillery. There are also food choices within walking distance. The hot tub and fire pit are icing on the cake. (The chairs by the fire pit need to be cleaned, but it’s a small detail that’s easily fixed). We will definitely be back!!!”
