“Staying at the Stream Side Country Manor is a ABSOLUTE MUST. It’s not just a stay, It’s an experience like no other. If you are thinking of going to Hobbiton then this place is the perfect retreat. The house is full of character, built using 10th century carpentry techniques the joints and beams are held together with pegs. It is cosy and stylish, a beautiful house in a wonderful farm setting. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“The bed sheets has many insects. It seems that there has no change the bed sheets. There has no pillow provided. 1st night - we double checked and made sure the door locked before we go bed to sleep. In the morning, we saw the door was opened. The door had scratch marks， I guess somebody use the tools to open the door. Be careful your bags and money if you stay in there. We really cannot sleep in the 2nd night. The washroom is clean. The location is not different to find. I won’t……

“Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price”
