“We are returning after our stay at Riverbend Homestead Horse and Farmstay, and it was an unforgettable experience. “The house is very basic, which should be ok, but there was laundry left in the washing machine from a previous tenant and the house was full of cobwebs. We vacuumed the main bedroom, as it was pretty dirty. The fridge was not clean and neither was the toilet. On leaving and closing a window the glass just fell out! Serious maintenance needed. There was very nice linen and plenty of hot water, so I suppose it depend on what your expectations are. The location is great.”

“We had the most beautiful stay. The property is historic, with contemporary features which add to the comfort. It is in a beautiful quiet location whilst also being within walking distance from the centre of town. We would absolutely stay again when we return to Beechworth. ”

“What a beautiful and relaxing stay! The house is carefully planned for coziness, and comfort. Beautifully decorated to make you feel instantly comfortable and ‘at home’. The outdoor spaces with the deck, fire pit and spa allowed for long conversations and looking at the stars as long as you want. Then to a warm, fluffy bed to rest up and sleep your troubles away. We will definitely be back!”

Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room and comfy beds. Welcome provisions of some breakfast food. A fabulous property to have a relaxing time. Hope to visit again one day. ”

“This is a great property, very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The master suite is really big, with a great bathroom (with two basins) and walk in robe. The bed was comfy. We travelled alone, but if you have kids or friends the other two bedrooms and bathroom are in a different part of the house, so there is good privacy.It has a great view, although the trees behind are growing tall and starting to block it out.
