“We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable with a new shaker modern style kitchen, so very easy to make a simple meal. The bed was super comfortable in a roomy upstairs bedroom. “Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s”

“During our stay we had plenty of time to take in the amazing views and due to the great location go on long walks. Drove to Hadrian’s wall and completed a great but challenging (for me) walk all our party completed with a well deserved stop at sycamore gap. We prepared a lovely meal together 10 in our party in the barn and relaxed in the lounge with beautiful log burners. On Sunday we had a short walk to the local pub which we highly recommend.
