“We have never been to Mt Baker. The house is less than 4 minutes from Glacier for cafe, restaurants and groceries. Last stop before driving up to Mt Baker, which was about a fast 30 slow 45 windy drive up the mountain. Having the hot tub to soak apres ski was brilliant. So quiet and peaceful in the country side. The King size bed was very cozy. Lot's to watch on TV with netflix, hulu, prime etc.. and the fireplace added to the coziness. Bonus was the drying rack for boots and supplied flip flops……

“No wifi and no service but a vhs collection and tonnes of games was awesome. Wifi at the rec center was close and the rec center was really fun. Basketball and squash court was awesome. “This property in Maple Falls is the 2nd and 3rd floors of a small A frame cabin just above the offices for Mt. Baker Lodging, which is right on the Mt. Baker Hwy. (542) There is one parking space and access to the cabin is via steep stairs in the backside. For a budget cabin everything is okay, but it’s all very dated and basic. There is ample room for a couple and the unit is attractive and comfortable. We had to wear ear plugs at night dampen the highway noise for sleeping. The bedroom is……

The location of the condo was right at the edge of the mountains so it was a close drive to the hiking trails. Be weary that there is no internet or cell phone service. “ We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is in a very quiet and mostly secluded location in the forest, which is what we were looking for....peace and quiet. It is somewhat far from big time amenities so I would recommend bringing some food and other necessities. One thing I want to mention is that there is not a curtain, shade, or blind in the entire house.....which has a lot of windows. We would stay again.”
