“Great location being so close to the hills. Lots to explore nearby, Healsville, Yarra Glen etc as well as the wineries. Also a great base to be for a hot air balloon adventure. A very comfortable hotel with ample covered parking and a couple of good restaurants. Will certainly return!”

“If you think an old Hotel in the heart of Healesville will be a nice adventure, then you are right. This is a lovely old Hotel with friendly staff. The restaurant is cosy and good value. The bathroom is shared, but there is more than one and they are very clean. The homely vibe is appealing. ”

“Very Serene location with lake and bush style cottage living feel. Very friendly host who bakes the best bread. Cottage is large, allowing kids to have their own time. Large SPA-bedroom-bathroom-Kitchen-Sunroom was all on point. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family getaway in nature.”

“The hotel definitely cannot be called Grand. It was build on a pub. But it is true it has a long history, built in 1833. It is not value for the money paid. First the checkin means calling the people from pub counter to the checkin desk to give you the key. And there is no elevator at the hotel, handicapped or large suitcase people not suggest to go. For the wind change in the bathroom, it cannot be even more noisy. I booked with the most experience room category, however the bedroom is facing……
