“Comfortable, roomy”

“We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin on the lake. Thoughtfully designed, it included everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Inside, the classic Minnesota cabin aesthetic came through beautifully—plenty of pine tongue-and-groove paneling and charming wildlife decor set the tone.What really surprised me was the variety of waterfowl on the lake. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I spotted several birds I couldn’t even identify, which says something!I titled this a "Diamond in the Rough"……

“We had a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We loved the boathouse--cute, quaint, and right on the water. The air conditioning worked well and was a life-saver in the hot, humid weekend weather. The owners were friendly, responsive to questions, and communicated well. No real swimming area at the property (unless you went further out into the lake), but it was a lot of fun to take advantage of the provided kayaks and paddleboards. “Hosted a bachelor party with 8 of my friends. It was the perfect place for us to relax yet still have things to do. The basketball court is tons of fun and it was awesome to jump in the lake right after. There is some sand and it’s up kept very well. There’s a nice doc and some water toys to use. Inside we took full advantage of the pool table and great TV room. There’s plenty of places to sleep for everyone. The hosts were awesome - communicated very quickly and made everything effortless. It’s become for us, our home away from home, a place where our shoulders go down the moment we arrive. The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful in how they prepare for and communicate with guests. It’s always clean and furnished in a way that lends itself to good sleep and relaxation. It’s also conveniently located, within a few blocks of campus, the Weitz Center, or downtown.……
