It is a nice historic building. It has been renovated very nicely. There isn't a staff person sitting at a front desk. My key was in a large envelope with my name printed very large, and left on the front counter, next to another guests, with their name printed very large on the envelope. So much for privacy... Located on a corner in the town square, on a main street. Was quiet thru the night, after 11pm on a Monday night.

Our room had huge windows that were paper thin. We could hear every car truck and motor vehicle go by all evening long. We also could hear a lot of loud music from a bar in the basement of the building and people laughing and talking outside our window until approximately 2 AM. Our room also had large windows that faced to the inside of the building toward the hallway, which was extremely well lit. Unfortunately, it also lit up our room all night long. The stairs in the Inn, are very steep and quite narrow. If you are anyone with any type of mobility issue, this is not a place for you. Additionally, we never saw a single staff member during our one week day. Anything we needed, we had to text a phone number to get. We found that pretty inconvenient at times. All in all, I would not stay there again because I did not find it the least bit restful.

Clean but not secure check in
Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels smelled amazing! Quiet, other than some street noise. Very tall windows which were unable to be covered completely so room was not dark at night. Bed was too hard for my liking. Nobody was at front desk at all during our stay. Keys were left on front counter in an envelope. A bit of a safety issue in my opinion. No deadbolt on door of room, just a small flip lock.

The room is beautiful. The stay was quiet. The only drawback was you have to text or call staff when you need something. They do not sit at the front desk. However, they do respond to the text. Staff are nice and polite. I plan to stay again.

Great place to stay when you’re in the area! Clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms and a great location. We stayed in room #3 overlooking the town square. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Lovely room but...
Stayed one night on a longer trip. Room was lovely however, there was way too much light from the hallway getting into the room via a stripof windows that werent accessable or blinded. The light was on all night. Bring a sleep mask. Poor excuse for breakfast too.

Wonderful small town hospitality.
Quaint inn on town square. Spacious clean and modern rooms. Self checkin (only 7 guest rooms) which was a refreshing reminder of the beauty of small town hospitality.

Although the staff leaves your keys at the front desk, they answer immediately when you call them. Washington is a quaint little town, and we liked how this older building was renovated with a modern and clean look. It was very quiet during our staff and a continental breakfast was easily accessible when we left early in the morning. We would return if we visit the area again, and we'd love to take more time to explore the area.
