I really enjoyed my stay at Capitol Hill. The instructions were easily shared beforehand, making the check-in easy. The codes were delivered before I landed and arrived. The building was kept clean and had all the amenities you could want, including a really beautiful full gym. The property was very secure during my entire stay, and there were tons of restaurants to eat at and a train stop nearby.

This property really was beautiful. The next street over was the Union Station less than .5 mile walk. The location was perfect, and the communication back-and-forth from the property was timely. The front desk and amenities within the building we’re great. My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Global Luxury Suites property. We would stay there again. Pros: beautiful, walkable, neighborhood close to train station and bus stops, grocery store, and coffee shops. Safe and clean. Reasonable price. Con: the keyless door entry is great for safety but can be extremely inconvenient. I downloaded the app because the door code was not working. But my phone is older and not as reliable. Also, there's a door code for everything- front door, elevator, room, and shared spaces. If you don’t use the app or have a decent phone, that's a lot to remember. We noticed the occasional noise from the trains but it didn’t bother us, as it might some other people.

Setup of the buildings are super weird… two separate towers with a Marriott in between and you have to walk outside on the street to get from one tower to the other. Also the parking garage is a separate entity - $40 overnight and will cost you minimum $8 just to enter and exit - don’t go in if you need to leave soon. Only safe overnight parking available and should’ve been disclosed upfront that our stay was going to cost an extra $200 in parking fees for two days stay - would’ve chosen another booking had I known that upfront. Place appeared clean at first sight but the floors were DIRTY and the “clean” blanket in closet had spots and stains obviously not washed (it was gross to even think what was on that blanket). Two TV’s one remote with dead batteries and the other with none… that was fun having no TV’s working. Lady at the front desk was rather rude and zero help. Will not stay here again.

Super hard to find the place. No signage inside or outside the building. Once you figure it out it was easy. But annoyingly poor signage. The room itself is clean and quiet and fine. But it’s definitely like AI created the space. No hair dryer, no place for you to put your soap or shampoo in the shower? Like did anyone ever step foot in here…? They also want you to send photos of your credit card over email to them? Doesn’t seem safe. I might stay here again as the location is fabulous. But I almost felt like something is a little dystopian about the whole experience.

The property was spacious and generally well-equipped, though there were a few minor inconsistencies, such as only having a single wine glass and mismatched dishware. I appreciated the strong sense of safety and security, although entering key codes at every entry point became a bit cumbersome—especially when handling luggage. Some areas of the unit, like the visible imperfections from a rushed paint job and lack of wall decor, made the space feel unfinished. There were also small maintenance oversights, such as door damage from broken stoppers and incomplete cleaning near the baseboards. On the positive side, the full-sized refrigerator was very convenient, and although I didn’t use it, having a stovetop and separate living area is a great benefit for long-term stays.

I liked everything about the property except for the subway noise. That noise runs all day and night every few minutes and it was difficult to sleep. The staff were great, very helpful and accomodating. The location is good with the exception of the train.

The apartment was cold and the blanket was very thin. No extra blanket in the apartment. No receptionist in the building and had to call the hotline for help. WiFi was nightmare, the assigned login and password didn’t work, connected to the building central WiFi instead and kept cutting off. Called the hotline and gave another login to connect WiFi but was very unstable too; the bedroom had no WiFi signal at all. The lobby was grand and the pics on Expedia were nice but Very minimal apartment in real I would say

I was hesitant about booking due to the reviews about checking in. I called 24 hours before my check in and was emailed the codes for the hotel. We had no issues with the codes or check in. It was quick,easy and customer service was easy to reach. The room was clean and spacious. It is close to Union Market and the metro so getting around was easy. There is a grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. Cons: the water pressure wasn't great and the beds are not super cozy. But I would stay here again if I was back in DC.

Great service and location. The restaurant at the corner is a great go to. Metro is just a 5-8 minute walk. Felt like I was at home from how comfortable the place was.
