Front desk guys were personable & friendly. We stayed for 4 nights so expected at least 1 visit from maid service (towels, garbage, etc.) but never had any maid service. Room given to Expedia customers might be worse in the house (ours was on 2nd floor right near the noisy entrance). Fortunately (maybe?), the HVAC unit in our room (circa 1970's), which climate controlled the room efficiently, was loud (>40 decibels) drowning out any and all noises from outside the room. The biggest positive was that DC Metro subway (Courthouse station) was only 5 minute walk from hotel. Also, Hilton quality meant most things at hotel, aside from out-dated HVAC unit and broken mechanical blinds were average to above-average quality.
