Front desk staff when checked in & checked out were very nice and helpful. Assited me with my bags excellent customer service. Resturant staff were very accommodating especially the cheff. Room was a little small but clean and cozy. The only thing the lights in the hallway by the rooms are a little dim could use a brighter lighs. As whole I enjoyed my stay .

The property was OK. The room was very clean, but it had no dresser drawers. There was no place for me to put my clothes. I thought that was a very odd thing so the designs of the rooms were odd. I wouldn’t wanna go back there for that reason, I had no place to put my clothes.

It looked like the designer may have been inspired by a prison cell, the room was sparse. A couple of small pictures on the wall, tiny side tables by the bed and a small table where the coffee machine was. There was plenty of room they just decided not to use it. 1 pillow each, 1 towel each. The bathroom had no windows and did not have a fan that you could control. Same with the thermostat, no ability to change it.

I like the hotel itself… the rooms are well decorated and comfortable. However, there is very little signage outside the hotel to indicate the location, or where to park. While the hotel boasts reserve valet parking, it is first come, self parking.

I only stayed for a night but it was just perfect for me. I came in on a red eye and arrived in the morning to have my bags held until the room was ready. The room was actually ready when I arrived and the guy working at the desk was extremely friendly. The place is nice. I can see that on a weekend it might be a little louder since people go there for the rooftop but I was there on a Tuesday so it was not a problem for me. Location is great as well. Definitely would stay here again next time I’m in DC.

I’m embarrassed I gave money to this hotel. Every employee I talked to was disinterested or just simply wrong in their information, including on when I was able to checkout. The “free margarita” coupon was the weakest one I’ve ever had and took almost 20 minutes of waiting to get on a not busy night. It was incredibly loud at night, including what sounded like a woman speaking over a loud-speaker system inside the hotel. When I called the front desk multiple times, nobody answered yet people checked in loudly in my hallway until almost midnight. Overall a sub-par hotel that I can not recommend.

The Hotel Nell has a super cool vibe! I LOVED the free welcome Margarita and Happy Hour specials at the rooftop bar. I'd definitely go there again. The people were all also great and the room was cute and most importantly the bed and pillows were comfortable. So what I didn't like - the noise. My room was ground floor, near checkin, and everyone who entered the hallway opened that door by checkin and I heard it and people talking all night long. Plus, I didn't love being on the ground floor - the blackout curtains helped, but that also just added to the noise. Another thing I didn't love was the design of the guest room I was in. I'm not sure if they are all like this, and maybe it's a factor of the converted seed company offices being transformed into a boutique hotel, but there were not enough places in the room to put my stuff. The sink was not in the bathroom, but rather in the guestroom right next to my desk. There was nt enough room to keep things organized as I was getting ready in the morning and lighting above the sink was not great. Also, if I am using the desk there wasn't any surface besides the bed to open my suitcase. There was a small book case by the door but the shelves were not wide enough to support a suitcase. The next 2 things are things I really hope the hotel management addresses. The TV has the option to stream, but when I went to stream my YouTubeTV, another user was still signed in. And the Alexa alarm that I didn't set wasn't cleared either.

Thai hotel is great but needs a few update on facilities the shower water pressure was terrible. And we could hear our neighbor guests in the nearby rooms at times. Otherwise this is an awesome place and is very cool inside
