“I was in the neighborhood for a workshop. Initially I chose the property for its location near the workshop.The house and property was so beautiful. You have complete privacy so you can sit outside in your pjs and have coffee and relax. It had everything you need for your visit all in perfect running order.I would stay again if I ever come to the area again.”

“This house was wonderful. Our party of six had plenty of space to stretch out and also areas to gather. A particular highlight was the Jacuzzi, which was beautiful and easy to access. Another phenomenal amenity is the large fireplace connected to both the dining area and living room. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.”

“The house is just as wonderful as others have said, and the hosts were super responsive by text without intruding in the least — we met Deidre only once & by chance, as it were. The house is definitely compact, but the space is well apportioned. Worth noting that *indoors* it’s all one acoustic space — upstairs or down, all sound is audible to all; and the kitchen is necessarily modest. But we had a splendid time visiting for 2 lovely July weeks with our sons (18 and 19). We swam in the pond,……

“We had a great time staying at this house during our Sugarbush skiing trip this February. The place is easy to access and is close to the ski resort. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this rental.”

“My husband and I stayed here for one night during this beautiful fall season. Peter met us when we arrived and showed us around and was very accommodating. The layout of the church is wide open. With antiques, unique collectibles, and interesting artifacts that were placed to be aesthetic to the eye. Yes, there were antique knives and antique toy guns, which added to the unique character of this VRBO. The feel of the house is that it is much loved and there is much thought into what goes in it……

“Great property in a quiet location with a well equipped kitchen. The host was responsive to our questions, and was proactive about reaching out when the previous renters let him know about a problem with a stove burner, to see if we needed any help with the same issue.”

“The home is very clean and very brand new, just beautiful nestled down in the forest. Perfect location for rest and relaxation. Go out the back porch and you can hear the water flowing, this is the place to stay in Vermont!”

“We spent an amazing week at the Mad River Ski Chalet. My kids declared this the best Vermont house we've ever stayed in (we go every year, we've stayed at a lot of houses). It's rural enough, while still being close to things you need. Waitsfield is a great town - lots of stores and restaurants. Easy drive to Burlington. But more importantly - the house is just great. Very comfortable, beautifully updated, great deck with incredible views. We definitely plan to stay here again.”
