“My wife, our two dogs, and I, had a lovely few days at Grey Gables. The cottage was clean, cozy, and only steps from the lake, private dock, and sitting area. Communication was excellent. We will definitely be back. ”

For the winter months the lower level with the pool table was cold, but we were still able to enjoy it. The host of the property had exceptionally good communication and was attentive and helpful. “The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!”

“This is a lovely property - we have stayed here multiple times and will be back. The house is spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and Mt. Sunapee is only about 7 mins from the house - so perfect for skiers. My kids also LOVE the pool/ping pong table in the basement. Bonus points for super responsive host!”

“My husband, myself, 3 of my adult kids and 5 grandchildren under 7 stayed very comfortably. So many nice rooms. Although very updated had a very nostalgic feel. All of the living spaces were extra large and plenty of seating. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the yard was humongous. We were fortunate to get snow while we were there and the kids had never seen snow since we’re from Georgia. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you so much, Wayne. ”

“Spent the weekend with a couple of friends to celebrate my 28th birthday. Had a great weekend! The house was very big and had all the amenities we could’ve needed. 10 min from the mountain. It snowed one of the nights we were there and the driveway was plowed at least once before we woke up and were ready to leave in the morning. Had to do a little bit of shoveling to dig out the front door and around our cars.”

“Easily walkable to the very lovely village of Westmoreland, but secluded and with a beautiful view, really quiet and user-friendly. Attentive property owners checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, which was kind and made us feel at home. A terrific porch that's warm in the sunshine even in winter, with great views of birds, sky and stars. ”

“We were VERY pleasantly surprised to see a Christmas tree and a fully decorated house! The kids absolutely loved it. That said, the house in general was child friendly in every way - dinnerware and utensils, toys, appropriate sleeping options, and others. It was perfect for meeting familu from all over!”
