“The staff is helpful and cheerful. When I get hurt during the New Year, no Tuk Tuk can be called. The boss of hostel drives me to the hospital and wait me for over half hour. The environment is clean and quiet. You can see the reality of monks just in front of the guesthouse, comparing with the "tourist" monks in French area. But the hotel is in the another side of the river. Bamboo bridge is built during the dry season but it charges 5000K for go-and-back per person. If you stay 4 days,……

“I stayed 9 nights here in Villa Phonetip and it was perfect. I had room 4 which had its own private entrance up a little lane way with view of the Meekong. I could sit on my private balcony and watch the sunset each evening ! The location is perfect with lots of riverside restaurants very nearby and it’s only a few minutes walk to the Main Street and night markets. The rooms are large, bright and clean with good air con. Finally the staff could not have been more helpful in arranging a few tours……
