“We had a lovely holiday here and will definitely book again - shame they are full for the rest of this year or we would be back later this summer! Excellent hosts- especially Zefie and Lea - who make you feel very welcome. Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price). “A beautiful place. It was clean and quiet with an excellent pool. Rooms were well equipped and very well maintained. Staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful. It is a 40 walk from Skala but there is an excellent and cheap hotel shuttle and the walk itself was lovely.”

“I stayed at Barefoot Contessa in mid-June 2025. I was holidaying as a solo traveller which I have only done a few times before and so was very anxious leading up to the trip. “This is a great property, well cared for and run. The pool was clean and the kids loved their time here. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be to make the kitchen utensils etc a little better stocked. Five stars all around - really good value. ”
