“We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. The water is pretty shallow a good ways out and the waves are gently. There are beach toys and snorkel gear available as well as a boat and life jackets.This private beach access is hard to beat. I appreciate that the owners are close by but never intrusive, only checking on us periodically to see if there is anything they can do to make us feel comfortable. “We had a great stay at this clean, beachfront home. We hired a driver for the week, planned our own excursions and hired a chef. The home is clean, well appointed and located on the beach. The closest restaurant/bar is under a 5 min walk along the beach or road. It is also the only real walkable option, as this home is currently off the beaten path a bit, and it is only open Thursday to Sunday, but Hopkins is ever expanding so this will likely change in the near future. “It’s was amazing !!! The 3 separate buildings, a private pool, cabana , outdoor Showers & soaker tub ….it was simply the best place we’ve ever stayed !! The wildlife during the day, and the night is just absolutely phenomenal! The stars are like something you’ve never seen before in your life if you’ve never been to a place that dark.
