“Villa Shore is everything we had hoped for our stay and more. This home was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Ample space to hang out inside and out. Rooms and beds were comfortable and we loved sinking into the giant couch in the living room after a long day in the pool or out in excursions. The pool was perfect! We also really liked that it got shade later in the afternoon to give us a break from the sun when we needed it. Rick, the owner is amazing! He answered so many questions and set us……

“The house was clean and well-stocked to cook. Beds were comfy and the AC worked when power wasn’t out. House manager Jeanette was so awesome — communicative, friendly, helpful. She also rents golf carts to 18 and our teens loved zipping around Hopkins and having some freedom. The seaweed was pretty bad at our house but plenty of docks a couple houses away to access the ocean.”

“This was our second time staying at this great property. As before, it never let us down. The house is amazing, the kitchen is of great design and wonderful for serving meals. We made stewed chicken, the national dish of Belize and everyone loved it. The pier is fantastic to hang out on and swim from and then there is the pool area for a relaxing time. It is close to Bocawina where we hiked through the rain forest one day and zip lined another. It is also close to Sub Umbra Floreo……

“We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. The water is pretty shallow a good ways out and the waves are gently. There are beach toys and snorkel gear available as well as a boat and life jackets.This private beach access is hard to beat. “Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). Doc responded quickly to my initial inquiries, and Janette provided a helpful introduction to the place after I arrived. Would recommend Areca House!”

“Great house at the bank of the river. Just 5 minutes drive from Hopkins and restaurants. Two comfortable beds (king and queen); large kitchen with all equipment you’ll need. Airco units in all three rooms. Check in is extremely easy, with the care takers living at the gate. Swimming in the river is at own risk, since there are stories on crocodile(s), but we never saw one (our stay was in July)Highly recommended ”

“SLICE OF PARADISE.This was an absolutely perfect stay at Villa Rising Sun. Mark and Sabrina are great hosts and a big shout out to Dean for his expert concierge services. All three of them would check in from time to time to make sure that we had everything we needed. The house is large, comfortable and very clean.
