“Wonderful house completed to a very high standard. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect and neither is better than the other which is fabulous for 2 couples as nobody has to compromise. Would highly tecommend”

“After a long day of driving past tons of sheep from Inverness, we arrived at the house on Skye. It was indeed remote, exactly as we expected. Thankfully, the wifi information was posted visibly in a window so we could check the app for entry instructions, because there was a triffling amount of cell signal out there.Once inside, the sunny kitchen was glorious. The entire house was comfortable, with great views of the water.One night we even could see the aurora in the night sky.The only downside……

“The hillside location gives amazing view across Lochbay.Waternish is a convenient location to get all across the island.The cottage has tonnes of character and is very homely. There was lots of space for the 3 of us.We appreciated the washer and dryer!There is heating in every room and a log fire which we enjoyed in the evenings.The house was immaculately clean and comfortable. There is a large selection of games for children of all ages.We had excellent communication with the owner throughout.”

“My husband and I and two friends from the States recently spent three wonderful nights at The Old Church on the Isle of Skye. The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. We would recommend this property and its proprietors without hesitation and hope……

“Beautiful house in a fairly remote location. Just on the edge of the water. Short drive to the stein inn which is the oldest pub on Skye. Loch Bay the only Michelin started restaurant on the island is next to the stein inn.Property as described in the listing.Lovely location, lovely house. Prompt response to an issue that we had by the property Manager Cat.”

Comfortable and modern, yet entwined timelessly with the land, everything was thoughtfully and beautifully arranged..an aesthetic masterpiece. We never wanted to leave! “Wow. Skye is magical and I'm glad we stayed two nights in this house. The view from the windows of the loch and surrounding countryside is unbeatable. So many stars at night. Amazing silence. Friendly neighbors down the street let us feed their sheep. The home was our comfortable base for exploring the Quiraing Road, Mealt Falls/Kilt Rock, Old Man Storr, Portree, and the Fairy Pools. Got up for the sunrise our last morning. Didn't want to leave! Thank you! ”

“Sehr tolles kleines Haus. Würde es jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Hatten zwar kleine Mängel, habe diese aber dem Besitzer direkt mitgeteilt. Es zu finden, war nicht so einfach, man muss schon etwas weiter fahren als das Restaurant und dann kommen links lauter Schilder und da fährt man dann nach oben. Tolle Aussicht mit einer beruhigenden Stille. Kauft davor gut ein, da vor Ort keine Geschäfte sind. Kaffeeaufbereiter, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach , Toaster und co. alles was man benötigt ……
