“We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. The location was perfect with just a short drive to many locations on Skye, but away from the business of Portree. We had a wonderful dinner at the Uig Inn and two locations within……

“This is a nice cottage that is located on the northern, western aspect of the island. The cottage was clean and larger than we needed. If you are looking for remote and quiet than this is the place for you.”

“Sehr tolles kleines Haus. Würde es jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Hatten zwar kleine Mängel, habe diese aber dem Besitzer direkt mitgeteilt. Es zu finden, war nicht so einfach, man muss schon etwas weiter fahren als das Restaurant und dann kommen links lauter Schilder und da fährt man dann nach oben. Tolle Aussicht mit einer beruhigenden Stille. Kauft davor gut ein, da vor Ort keine Geschäfte sind. Kaffeeaufbereiter, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach , Toaster und co. alles was man benötigt ……

“This cottage is beautiful, and is in such a peaceful setting…just what we needed after a month in the cities. It was actually bigger than the photos made it out to be. The views were amazing, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was great. It was easy access to Portree, and centrally located to go do all the things on Skye, especially on the Trotternish Peninsula. We wish we could have stayed here longer. The extremely short walk to the hill above provide breathtaking views (wear hiking boots……
