“We only stayed a single night on the way to Johannesburg airport, but we enjoyed all of it. Wonderful room with fantastic views and a G/T on the terrace. Nice homecooked dinner and breakfast and overall just great service. We felt very welcome. Only downside was that the mosquitoes were as happy to see us as Holger and Norma. Glad this is not a malaria area. ”

“Heel apart verblijf in nette niet al te grote maar kamer die groot genoeg is met comfortabel bed. De opvang en begeleiding is fantastisch. Er wordt een geweldig diner verzorgd en lekker ontbijt. Jammer dat af en toe aangekondigd de stroom uitvalt, maar daar kunnen de hoetelhouders ook niets aan doen.”

“We had a fantastic stay, host was super friendly and helpful, on call, cottages was newly furnished, had all the basics, limited Wifi, but enough for emails and Watsapps, could watch rugby at the restaurant, meals there upon request, emergency lighting around the premises during load shedding but not in the unit so take your torches, breath taking walks and river views, enough stunning swimming spots along the multiple pristine river crossings along the way for the hot summer day walks in the……

“2 weeks prior to our arrival, we sent a message, and have still not had a reply. At arrival, the host did not know we were coming and had no info about our booking. Luckily she did a good job on preparing our house quickly. Kitchen supply was very old, frying pan useless and no toaster. ”
