This is a lovely and quiet spot, tucked in the hills, away from the busyness of California. The property is soothing and is surely resplendent, when the flowers and plants wake from winter dormancy. Santa Cruz, Aptos, Carmel, Monterey are all within easy striking distance, but there are also old, groovy side roads to explore, nearby, that wind up hillsides and through tight valleys. We enjoyed a local vibe band night at the Corralitos Winery, which was ultra laid back and casual.
The side suite, while comfortable, could have been a bit better prepared with towels, toilet paper, a dish rack, a respectable coffee maker, and some other details, such as having tie-offs for the long blind cords, and providing a broom for sweeping up.
Overall, the stay was great, and the hosts were kind... just a few details need attention for ease of liveability.
