Waupaca is waiting for you! Relax in this 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin that sleeps 9-10 people. With 3 queen beds, a double bed, and 2 twin beds, this cozy retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the soothing ambiance of a traditional Northwoods cabin. Walk down to the private Ottman Lake where you can swim, kayak, or watch the migrating birds. Three kayaks, and a mini SUP are included. The cabin is complete with WiFi, washer & dryer, gas grill, full kitchen, large deck overlooking the lake, and ample parking for up to 8 cars. The 2 bathrooms offer a shower, bathtub, hairdryer, soap, shampoo, towels, etc. Book now and enjoy everything this fabulous cabin has to offer. Across the street, and around the corner, you can walk to 2 full service restaurants, (Indian Crossing Casino & Wheelhouse). You can take in live music, or just sit on the shore and have craft cocktails, wine, and a meal at Indian Crossing Casino. (Check their website.) Also, within the same walking distance, you can rent a pontoon boat at Becker's Marina, or Peterson's Marina, and cruise the Waupaca Chain of Lakes. This cabin is in the middle of the action with the serenity of a private lake.

Great neighborhood

The neighborhood was great! Super cute. House was very clean. Beds comfortable. I will say I have never looked for air conditioning before but this home does not have any and in July it is very hot. Uncomfortable for some of our party even with fans. The deck(pier) to get in lake is broken. And mostly sunken into lake. So you have to wade thru the muck and lily pads to enter. We had one kayak with holes that filled as we sat in the lake. The upper deck felt a bit unstable with a large board the completely lifted when stepped on and shook a bit. just expect a cabin in the woods. The owners didnt seem too concerned about the deck or broken chair by fire or kayak.Agreed to check them out after we left. But they were quick to charge us for old towels that supposedly got ruined in wash. We abliged and paid. But going forth definitely recommend pics of your stay and any seemingly off things! Again a clean rustic cabin in the woods.

This is a great property, and Waupaca is a wonderful town I would definitely go back The Cabin is very quaint with several modern upgrades and fulfilled our needs Just note that there is no A/C at this facility, Only box fans so in 95 degree summer it does get a little warm in the cabin

The house itself isn't that bad, however I do have somethings that I wish I would've known before hand and some suggestions for the property. We loved the table it was big enough that we did some puzzles and games and watched people down fishing or going out in the boat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed and then some. There was plenty of room in the bedrooms also, but one thing I didn't like was all beds were screwed to the wall (we needed to move the down stairs queen for people to walk around the bed. Also, most of the outlets were behind the bed and we couldn't get to them that well do to not being able to move the beds.) The wooden stairs into the house were not very secure. The boards gave to much play and rather than fix them correctly they just added small pieces of wood to stabilize them. THE HOUSE HAS NO AC. We happened to go I guess one of the hottest weeks up there and it was up in the 90's and there was fans but a lot of the family had trouble falling asleep with how hot it was in there. The stairs to the second level were steep and open. I highly don't recommend having small kids around them, they could easily fall. There is no dock their dock is in the water which was a bit disappointing as the guys wanted to fish and they couldn't walk out on the dock and fish or just seat and enjoy the water there. The chairs in the living room are hard but couch was comfy.None of the bathroom doors have locks. Might want to use allergenic soap.

Hidden Gem

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. I’m not one for swimming in lakes, but the water here was clear and was a great temp! We walked to the Wheelhouse restaurant and had pizza on the outdoor deck for dinner. Thanks to the hosts for a welcoming, clean, and beautiful spot for my kids and I to spend the weekend! Loved it so much booked another weekend in August!
