Well, those that know me would say that I had died and gone to heaven at the Outdoorsman Motel. What a lovely, comfortable place. The knotty pine and cabin motif add to your vacation vibe, but it is the management that made it heaven. I went down to ask for two drinking glasses as we were going to have a relaxing cocktail at the end of a day full of hiking, sightseeing, and absorbing the nearby beauty of the area. The helpful owner not only handed over two plastic cups, but upon hearing what I was going to do do with them, went away and came back with two crystal old-fashioned glasses! That's the part that sent me to heaven. It is important which glass type (but I digress). Parking is easy; the rooms are spacious; and the location can't be beat.

The employee at the desk knew my name before I even said who I was, which made for a very personable and enjoyable experience. The room was incredibly cozy and clean. There were also bbq stations at the doors for guests to cook their own food. It was a great place to stay!
