“We really enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven. It was clean and comfortable and very relaxing. The views were beautiful from every room, and the screened porch was perfect for reading a book and napping. We brought our boat, and the boathouse was nice and accessible. We hope to come back soon!”

“Wonderful, open, spacious feel of a "camp" on the water, with all the amenities of your normal house!Beautiful view, and absolutely no noise, with great privacy!Bring anything you'll need for your stay, because you will not want to leave while you are there! (but if you forgot anything...Dollar General is a stone's throw on the main road!) “Weekend stay for my mother's 77th birthday. She spent every morning on the back porch watching the sunrise drinking coffee. She handled the steps to water ok. “As a teacher conducting a field trip, this spot was a great. My family chaperoned with dogs, and the host was accomodating. I gave it 4/5 stars because it was cleaned for us right after another guest but there was a few cleanliness issues. The house is great and the host was accomodating. “This was truly a zero hassle experience with very clean and functional accommodations. The lake is very clean, peaceful, and relatively calm. “The house fit our needs perfectly! Plenty of comfortable gathering spaces for the whole clan with other spaces to be alone and read a book or enjoy nature. Our week was HOT so we really appreciated all the fun things to do at the house. We also rented the pontoon and had multiple fun and enjoyable rides. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We have decided to return next summer for our next family reunion/vacation!”

“The home was very beautiful, warm, and well decorated. It had everything we needed. We loved the wrap around porch. We had plenty of room to sleep and sit in the living and dining area. Our family did not utilize the provided water equipment because it rained our weekend. Even with cabins in the area the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The host was very detailed in providing check in and check out instructions and very easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again. ”
