Mount Hood Retreat is quietly nestled in the trees in Welches, Oregon and just minutes away from numerous recreational activities. The home features a beautiful vaulted, two-story entry with stone fireplace and lots of natural light beaming through the floor to ceiling windows in the great room.

The fully stocked kitchen has a variety of utensils, serving pieces, baking and cookware for an exceptional dine in-home experience. The outdoor BBQ has been refurbished in like new condition.

This home has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a loft bedroom. The main floor suite has a queen bed. The upper floor has three bedrooms: King with trundle twin daybed, twin beds with balcony, twin XL beds. The upper floor loft bedroom has a private balcony, with queen futon and futon chair.

There is a ping pong table, foos ball table , games, puzzles and books, providing several excellent indoor activities for you and your loved ones.

This remarkable property has a gorgeous and expansive deck with hot tub and partial view of Huckleberry Mountain and surrounded with mature trees. As part of the Resort Homeowners Association, you as a guest will have access to the year-round pool & tennis courts.

The Resort Spa is nearby and offers high-end massage packages, and a work out room for a nominal fee.

We loved the location and privacy, overlooking a quiet part of the golf course. The house was large and bright, with great kitchen space for our medium sized group.

Our extended family had a wonderful weekend getaway for skiing and snowboarding at Mt Hood. The home was very clean, well stocked and conveniently located. The access to a pool and the hot tub at the house were great hits, especially after a day outdoors. We would definitely return.

The house was very nice and clean. We rented it over Christmas, and they had a Christmas tree and some decorations. The kids loved it; it was a perfect home away from home to celebrate the holidays.

We had a wonderful reunion with college friends and our little ones. We went swimming in the pool in the mornings and played by the river every afternoon. We grilled most nights and the house was perfect. The rooms upstairs had a major issue with the AC but other than that all worked out well!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay, but main downstairs bed was certainly not a king as described. Bedroom tv only had limited channels. Main tv had 4 remotes with complicated instructions. Televisions were never used. The mattress and televisions were small inconveniences and didn’t affect our overall stay, I’m just informing other travelers. The indoor and outdoor spaces were entertaining and relaxing in a quiet convenient location. I was not sure where to drop off keys before office hrs, so I put them in the box where I picked them up. Other offices have a clearly-marked drop-off for this purpose, so check-out instructions should be clarified for those that need to check out early.

The house was clean and had all of the amenities one could want. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the desired appliances were available. The hot tub was in perfect order and heated when we arrived. Check in and check out was painless. Proximity to restaurants and the mountain was perfect. We had a great time!

Really great house! Very clean. Hot tub was great to have. Big family room was the highlight! It's well laid out, and the living room/deck has views of the forest and Huckleberry Mountain out the back. Kitchen was mostly stocked and everything worked even though the range/oven is a bit old. Would consider this a 4 bedroom, not 5, because one of the "bedrooms" faces the living room, has no door or privacy and has a fold-out couch. But this was fine with our 4-person group.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mt Hood Village retreat. It was exactly as advertised, wonderful balcony and hot tub and plenty of space for our group of friends. Friendly and easy communication. Would stay again.

A great property with room for 9 adults, an incredible deck and a hot tub that was clean and functioning well. The toilets have flushing issues and the oven broke, so there are some small things to remedy. But it was a great stay!

Nice open concept on main floor with high vaulted ceiling and two story windows to view the outdoors and deck. The location was less than 5 minutes from the grocery store, which was great since we did a lot of cooking. Kitchen was nice and roomy, we did not want for any utensils or pots and pans as was fully stocked, It even had a crockpot (i forgot mine so that was a saver). The bed I slept on was very comfy and everyone else seemed content with there sleeping quarters. The Management company was very nice and helpful. Also, Just minutes away was the club house with the pool and tennis courts for our use. People very nice at club house, pool and tennis courts well maintained. We really were excited about the ping pong table in the garage as we are big fans so that was super fun. But one suggestion you might want to have the management company check the ping pong balls to make sure they are not flat or cracked etc . We did not contact the management company with regards to the balls but im sure they would have got us some new ones (we let them know upon departure though. All in all we had a very relaxing stay.

The first floor has a great layout for family and friends to eat and still interact with each other while in the living room. Hot tub use was easy. Lots of rooms on the second floor. The windows provide lots of light during the day time and you can see the snow falling onto the patio. It's a beautiful stay.

We stayed at this location in June 2022 while our boys attended a camp at Mt. Hood. Great location! We needed to be close to Government Camp, so we chose this location. Very quiet neighborhood and great for walking. Located near several hiking trails, and we easily took day trips to Hood River (about an hour), the Oregon coast, and into Portland. The house is spacious and accommodating for a larger group. We only had four, but needed separate rooms. All you need for a great stay in beautiful Oregon.

Pleasant stay, booking was easy, check-in was easy, office staff are super nice (bonus: office pup is very cute and friendly), house is dated but very cozy and clean. The hot tub was great, we did have to open up all the windows to the house on that side so we could have some light to get to the hot tub safely (used cell phone flashlights too), but otherwise it was great! The office was quick and friendly when we asked if they could bring us the missing oven racks, and delivered the racks in a timely manner as well. The office staff recommended an awesome restaurant and wine bar nearby (Rendezvous & Cooper’s Wine bar). Overall the stay was great, and we look forward to going back!

Three of my friends and I had a great 4 night stay at Mt. Hood Retreat. The house was wonderful. The huge back deck is just awesome, with a nice view across a wooded ravine to the steep hills beyond. We did not have an opportunity to use the hot tub but it looked very clean and nice. The kitchen is well supplied with all the tools needed for meal prep, and the BBQ on the deck was clean and worked well (we grilled each night). The bedroom configuration worked quite well for us. The neighborhood is really nice and we took daily walks. We enjoyed a hike to up to Mirror Lake as well as having a beer up at Timberline Lodge, both go which were short drives from the house. The only issue was the the toilet in the half bath downstairs - it kept intermittently running and it appeared the mechanism was quite old and may need to be replaced. I notified staff when we dropped off the key at the rental office on the way home.

This property easily accommodated the 6 family members who came on this trip without crowding! The kitchen is easy to cook in and had all the needed tools/pans/etc., beds were comfy and the fireplace is gorgeous. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage, and we enjoyed the clean and warm hot tub in the evenings. The access to Ski Bowl was easy and close, and we had a blast! This is the second time we have stayed at this home, and we will absolutely be back again!

My family really enjoyed staying at this house. Spacious house and comfortable kitchen, provided with everything you need, very beautiful view from the windows, cozy living room with a fireplace, beautiful nature, close to Goverment Camp and Timberline. Also, in the living room, there is a fireplace, TV and various board games. I found this house to be very clean. This house is ideal not only for winter, but for any season vacations. The location of the house allowed us to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful view of the streets, mountains, forests, rivers, as well as a nearby golf course. The office is only four minutes driving away from that house. We are planing to come back may be in summer time.
