“Build in some time for check out cleaning - especially if you have the whole place occupied. Suffice to say there was lots of booze drunk, full trash in the many bathrooms and a kitchen full of food after our four days of a party of 22!! We had a blast and the vibe and river were perfect. We swam, kayaked, hot tubbed and hung out in the many lounge spaces. The house is well set up and maintained!!”

“Our family enjoyed our stay very much, the host were excellent and the house is well equipped. The indoors was very clean but the deck and outdoors furniture were not as clean as we would have liked. You cannot swim off the dock, but we managed to kayak out and swim.”

“This house was perfect for our annual winter girls trip! We relaxed in the hot tub, went for walks, read books, reminisced, cooked meals and gathered in both living rooms to play games and to watch football games! Would definitely come back!”

“We visited the lodge for a thanksgiving family getaway. The rooms and house are very spacious. Vrbo’s description of the house was very accurate. The owners of the home are very nice, welcoming, and are timely in responding. One negative I would give is the housekeeping of the house. It needed more of a “detailed” cleaning. This property could also be more handicapped friendly as far as entering the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to others. ”

We had the best time hanging out on the dock and riding out on Lake Gaston. We had a memorable time and would love to do it again.”

“A wonderful place to stay! This was our first time at Lake Gaston and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and spacious but we spent most of our time outside on the covered deck- our favorite part of the house. We love that the home was dog friendly- our pup loved lounging on the covered deck and dock with us. We enjoyed using the paddleboards and kayak for swimming during the day, using the grill for burgers at lunch, and lighting the fire pit at night. We loved the privacy of the dock……
