“My family had a pleasant time at Throw'n Shade. It was a quick trip to get outdoors at the Gorge, grab some pizza, then a evening at the cabin. The location is beautiful, nice view of a valley in the spring with no close neighbors. Just enough for what we were looking for.”

“We liked it overall. No directions for fireplace. It may have been broken. Microwave handle was broken. Steps to loft were a bit steep for us older folks. Tough road to get up to cabin. Overall we were pleased with our stay.”

“my son, daughter and I wanted to explore the red river Gorge during spring break. We stayed at the property and it was fantastic. It had all the amenities we needed was located exactly where we wanted to be at in the gorge area. It was extremely easily to get in touch with the property managers. We love the outdoor fire pit right by the stream.”

“Cabin was really nice. Driveway was little tricky, but nothing 4x4 couldn’t handle. Shower door did not stay shut so had to make sure floor had a towel down to catch the water. We would stay there again. ”

“This place was exactly what I was looking for. It was perfect for our holiday experience. There was even a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations put up. I highly recommend this place for a mountain cabin getaway!!!Thank you so much for making our Christmas vacation awesome!!!!”

“It was the perfect size for the two of us! The drive to any number of trails, Natural Bridge, and other area attractions weren’t too far from the cabin and it was nice to come back to after a day out.The bedding was really soft and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large and did its job. The kitchen was perfect for cooking in one night. The back and side porches were great and there was even a little are to have a fire. Driveway is steep, but it wasn’t an issue for me.I couldn’t get over……

“The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! It’s away from other houses so very private and surrounded by nature. The beautifully decorated, very well maintained, and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. We loved everything about it! ”

“Overall house great. Pictures accurately represented the house. Amenities good. Our only complaint was the condition of pots and pans. The non-stick surfaces were scratched and flaking off. Not usable. We went to target and purchased one for our use during the trip. Rest of house nice. ”

“My wife and I fell in love with this place the second we pulled up to it. It is pretty secluded and the waterfall was amazing! We will definitely be coming back to this cabin”

“Over all our stay was nice. There were a few things that wasnt the best like only part of the jets worked in the hot tub the oven didn't work at all and the toilet ran the entire time we were there. We stayed fri through monday. It was a quiet stay except the 12pm gun shots a few nights but still a good stay ”
