“Had 3 lovely days at Brooksyde. A very comfortable house, a home form home seaside retreat. A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise. “We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters……

“The Wheel house is the largest of 3 properties at this location. It’s stunning and Judith, the host, is very helpful. The property is one of the best equipped self catering properties we’ve stayed in. Included was: tea/coffee/sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, cloths, tea towels, bedding, towels, logs for the burner and a really well equipped kitchen. Beds were so comfy. The setting is stunning and we were even lucky enough to wake to a new calf in the field……
