Miles of picturesque walks can be embarked upon straight from the door, following the pretty coast path. With a Coasthopper bus stop just around the corner from the apartment, its easy to catch the bus back again.
All in all, Avocet Apartment is an ideal calm coastal getaway in a fabulous location, well-equipped for a couple or single traveller at any time of year. The excellent location makes exploring Wells and the entire North Norfolk coast incredibly easy. Wells beach, its iconic colourful beach huts, and the surrounding pine forest make for a great adventure. The award-winning Wells Crab House is a three minute walk away, but be sure to book! E-bikes can also be hired from nearby. The pretty Buttlands, and the two great gastropubs there can be reached a short walk walk. The road out of Wells leads directly to Burnham Overy Staithe, Burnham Market, Brancaster Staithe and all the villages to and beyond Hunstanton, each with exciting attractions, including paddleboarding, sailing, birdwatching, nature reserves, amusements, outstanding pubs and restaurants, and much, much more! In the other direction, the road leads to Cromer via Stiffkey, Blakney and Cley to name a few, where there are seal trips, nature reserves and more wonderful dining opportunities.
