“The only option available to book was the part of the lodge that was not updated. We asked for an upgrade at checkin but they were not able to accomodate. Instead the front desk staff provided free breakfast for our stay which was very generous. Loved my spa booking and the staff in the spa. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We got the same server, Willi, at both breakfasts. He was so nice and made it a pleasure. Everything needed was onsite. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! ”

“Surprisingly spacious basement apartment. The owners clearly put in a lot of effort to make it feel warm and inviting. It was very clean and had clearly been recently renovated. All of the furnishing were new and comfortable, and the rooms were pretty big.It's pretty far outside of of the city, near Fort Cherry HS. And up a dirt road, which was a bit tough in the snow. But maybe that's because I'm from Carolina.”
